This look shows the result of being struck by lightning, causing Lichtenburg figures to form on the skin. They are formed by the transmission of static electricity along blood vessels creating a lightning bolt like pattern.  

The story behind this look involves a person being struck by lightning on a hike, therefore the hair and outfit correlate to this story line. The story then flows to the model seeing themselves for the first time. 

This look was created by life casting the model and sculpting these figures based off of real life images. I used intrinsic colouring when casting the prosthetics to push the illusion that the colour was coming from within. Real Lichtenburg figures are scars and when formed follow the body's natural scar colour. Therefore, when deciding on the colouring for the prosthetics I colour matched a real scar on the model. 

Within this look I displayed my braiding skills as well as prosthetic application.
