Evoking primal fear in the viewer was key when designing this look for my final major project. Within TV and Film clowns are represented in a wide variety of ways, from weird and creepy to colourful and cute. I decided to focus on capturing photos showing the sinister side of the spectrum, evoking the clowns quirky personality through different poses and photographs. Designing a pose board was important to highlight all aspects of the makeup and personality of this clown, designing this look in this way evokes a range of emotions in the viewer. 

I utilised a range of skills across this project using on skin silicone for the mouth, fake teeth and demonstrating hair skills creating a backcombed half up half down which required some touch ups while on location.
